I stumbled across your blog through mamamia; you have both indescribable writing talent, photography talent; and together with such a snazzy theme, it makes for quite a beautiful blog.
These photo’s are gorgeous. Perhaps just because I know there is some hidden meaning I can’t be let in on, makes them all the more mysterious and makes different stories pop up in my head. My favorite would be the first one, and the overflowing kitchen.

This breaks my heart as my mum is only 65 and suffering with early dementia. It kills me to think what my boys are going to miss and I dread the day she stares at me vaguely.

You’ve written my story completely – almost this exact scene happened to me 2 weeks ago when I visited my Grandmother at her horrific aged care home. She had no idea who I was until I got up to leave. Recognition flashed across her face – and panic, that i was leaving. “Be a good girl, sweetie” and I too left with hot tears streaming down my face.
